SECOND REVIEW JUST IN for BOOK II!

BOOK REVIEW for BOOK II: The Return of the Ka and the Mending of the Su

"Christy pulls together the highs and lows of the Ancient past, the tribal indigenous, along with the far-reaching mechanics of modernity by way of humanity's vehicle for centering - that magical place called NOW - the beachfront of the Living-present connecting the Sacred Lands with the Holy Waters. Christy operates at this junction as the Shaman intermediary delineating the balance of the beings/creatures with their surroundings, each with its part to play, just like the growing of grapes with their terroir: the alchemical wedding; while all along the way she gives important reminders, "don't put negative energy on the things that you fear; keep on focusing to manifest the most harmonious outcomes; and when needs be, forgive yourself and go on to do better." What a whirlwind of wonder and wisdom!"

FIRST REVIEW of BOOK II Just In!

"With the broad brushstrokes of a master storyteller, Christy offers her much-awaited second book of the trilogy, The Last Scroll. A page-turner, just like Book One, Book Two weaves an epic story of a magical cast of characters including a reformed evil Shaman Priest, armed rebels, a blood-thirsty Queen, and True Teachers who can spin into a magnificent swan or owl. The spiritual teachings are interwoven with the storyline, emphasizing a message of “Equality…of everyone having freewill to do great things by exhibiting true compassion in all circumstances.” And a quote that speaks directly to today’s challenges: “You can tell the spiritual depth and the intelligence of not just one person but an entire culture by how they treat women, children, the land, the water, and animals.

"Truly a parable for our time, this book gives much to think about and use on your spiritual journey. Highly recommended."

BOOK I: THE EDUCATION OF TEMPLE FOX
Stranded on a mysterious island in the Indian Ocean, a young man unknowingly fulfills an ancient prophecy. Is the frightened Anglo-American, who fell from the sky, really the god and prophet foretold in the Makolese most sacred prophecy scroll? The scroll warns against imposters. Temple Fox has three months to find out who he really is before slave ships invade the mysterious island.

Temple is not alone on his spiritual journey. While the ‘Unbelievers’ plot to assassinate him, Tani, Mefakani and Losha rush in as allies. Tani, a wise and sassy old Healer, forges an alliance with her old adversary, the ambitious and powerful Shaman Mefakani. Both solicit the help of the newly widowed Interpreter, the beautiful Losha. Together the three teach the marooned pilot Makolese magic to jostle his damaged memory in hopes that the Stranger will remember the spiritual gifts he is meant to bring to the suffering people and the dying land. With each new rite of passage Temple bends the rules and learns faster than the Shaman anticipates, but not before Temple discovers a terrible secret.

A book filled with "root snakes" and quicksand, cover-ups and confessions, and secrets within secrets. A story about finding Courage, trusting Spirit, and the power of Love. Book One from the Spiritual Fantasy Adventure series 'The Last Scroll' written by Spiritual Counselor, Patricia S.
Christy.

BOOK II: THE RETURN OF THE KA AND THE MENDING OF THE SU
Trapped in a shaman's cavern filled with the smoke of dark magic, Temple Fox must find the strength and courage to fulfill his spiritual obligations as one of the True Teachers. His beloved, Losha, finds her own power ripen as she takes center stage helping Temple and their friends devise a plan to escape. But danger lies behind a megalithic stone door - the only exit - where a band of armed Rebels believe Shaman Mefakani to be the True Teacher. The Rebels expect Mefakani to leave his chambers with the head of Temple Fox, proclaiming victory over the white Wizard. But the Shaman is a changed man.

Bitter emotions toward Mefakani runs high. Can Temple and his friends trust him to help everyone escape unscathed? Can they prevent a civil war between Believers and Unbelievers? Will all the Kas, Mefakani had stolen from the Makolese people, be returned? Most importantly, will the lifeforce on the island ever be restored?

BOOK II follows each character's personal journey into wholeness. A spiritual, fantasy adventure about the web of beliefs we weave and how reality bends to those beliefs. A novel about beauty amidst brokenness, soul healing, and the true meaning of peace.

5-STAR REVIEWS: The Education of Temple Fox
(Read more detailed reviews on our Reviewers and Fan Page)

“This story is more contemplative, more moody and cleverly subversive.
…(Temple's) spiritual journey is engrossing...and many other characters are written with delightful complexity...It's nice to keep this in mind - that these characters feel alive and true...Exciting, thought-provoking, Christy’s imaginative scope is daunting, thrilling and just plain fun.”
~ Kelsey Vetter: Blogger/Pagegirl

“Populated with memorable characters Christy weaves a sublime and fascinating plot, comparing favorably with the works of Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child and Clive Cussler. The pleasures of ‘Temple Fox’ are not ephemeral, but like any good work of art, remain with the reader encouraging thought and instilling wonder.”
 ~ J. Michael Modlin

“Christy is a genius. This powerful story is delicious…rich, hopeful, insightful and spiritually expansive.”
~ Mimi Kates/Singer-songwriter

“Probably the most ingeniously skillful and creative writer I have ever read...Very captivating, alluring, suspense filled and funny!”
~ Marisol Cervantes

“No housework got done while reading this book.”
~ Carol A. Taylor

"I gobbled up the pages and fell in love with the characters. It was like taking a thrill ride through an expanded version of reality that included the presence of past-lives, ghosts, primitive creator gods, a power lusty shaman, and even aliens! As Temple Fox expands his own consciousness through the story, you find his awakening process is not unlike our own. Wonderful!!"
Stacie Coller, Author of Awake in Angelscape

“I read it 3 xs already, and each time I find something new I missed before.”
~ Suzanne H. Kahn

"Welcome to the magic. Christy takes her readers by the hands and sweeps us into a strange land. The rules of life are as different as the characters who live here. The joys, the love, the tragedies and the hate, however, sound a familiar chord. This book brings fantasy at its best and reality at its most poignant. A spellbinding read and a great first book of Christy's long-awaited trilogy.
~ Bob O'Conner, Author of Unholy Ground & Unholy Seed

"I'm writing to tell you how riveting The Education of Temple Fox was for me, and how I needed THIS story, this MOMENT. Although remembering one's divinity is an ongoing necessity, your book's adventure and character epiphanies have been a very helpful reminder of that for me right now. The voice of your writing, so clear and lyrical, was a pleasure in itself."
~ Susa Silvermarie/Poet/Author
